The weather in Kanpur is generally warm at this time of the year, with temperatures of 26 to 36 degrees C. Runners are requested to dress appropriately and ensure they are sufficiently hydrated throughout the course.his item.

Half Marathon : 3:30 hrs

10KM Run. : 2 hrs

5KM Run : 1:30 hr 

All participants finishing within this time will receive the finishers medal and e-certificate. To ensure that the timing is recorded, the Runner must cross all the timing mats provided at various locations. The Timing Certificate (Soft Copy) will be provided for runners who have completed the Half Marathon/ 10KM Run/5KM Run in  under 3:30 hours / 2 hours/1.30 hours respectively. The 2.4KM Fun Run is not a timed event and therefore will no timing certificate will be provided.

Yes!! We believe music is a great aid to running. However, please be alert to route signages, announcements from the race marshals and traffic (in case you exceed event cut off times).

Of course! We have Aid Stations stocked with water, biscuits, bananas along the route. First Aid stations and medical outposts are also present along the route, in addition to ambulances. There will also be a recovery room at the finish point for any emergencies. 

 If you are carrying any baggage on the Race day, you may drop it at the Baggage Counter. The organizers of the Kanpur Heritage Run are not responsible for any losses or damage to the contents. We recommend not having anything valuable or fragile in your bag. 

There are two parking lots available near the start point, at the Garrison Ground and St. Aloysius High School. We strongly recommend car pooling.

Minimum Age for Half Marathon is 18 years

Minimum Age for 10KM Run is 15 years

Minimum Age for 5KM Run is 12 years

All Age Groups can participate in 2.4KM Fun Run

Note: Age is calculated as of the date of the event, 19th March 2023.

The Registration fee covers the following:

Kindly review the published routes at the Expo. The route is subject to permissions from the concerned authorities and may be changed at a later date.

What are the race categories conducted for the Kanpur Heritage Run?

Half Marathon (21.097 KM), 10KM Run, 5KM RUN and 2.4KM FUN RUN.

The route for the Half Marathon is certainly challenging! With one flyover, we promise you “it’s a challenge worth every step”. A well planned training schedule containing sufficient hill training will go a long way. The 10KM and 5KM Run follows an easier and relatively flatter route, having no flyover as part of the route.

 The BIB Expo is being held on 18thMarch 2023, Saturday at Akbar Lawns, Cawnpore Club. The BIB and T-Shirts can be collected anytime between 11:00AM to 5:00PM on Saturday, 18th March 2023. You must bring the copy of your registration on your Mobile Phone along with a copy of Valid ID Proof same as submitted while registering.
